Description
This Geometric Logic Table worksheet is a fun and interactive way to boost critical thinking and shape recognition skills in young learners! Children will match colorful geometric shapes to complete the logic grid by combining top and side labels with the correct cut-and-paste images.
Instruction:
The objective of this activity is to match the correct combined shapes by placing the cutouts at the intersections of the designated rows and columns, according to the different colors provided in the table
Materials Required
- A table with one shape is listed horizontally (rows) and another is listed vertically (columns).
- Rectangular cutouts, each showing a combined version of the two shapes.
How to Play:
- Cut out the rectangular pieces.
- Identify where the row shape and column shape meet on the table.
- Paste the correct combined shape in the matching box, where the row and column intersect.
Example:
- If ▲ a Triangle is in a row and ⏢ a Trapezium is in a column, find the cutout that combines both shapes (e.g., a triangle overlapping a trapezium).
- Paste this combined shape in the box where the triangle’s row and trapezium’s column meet.
- Once all cutouts are pasted correctly, the table will be completed.
Key Features:
- Encourages color and shape matching
