Reply To: What is Cultural Heritage?

Cultural Heritage reflects the lifestyles that are developed by society and passed down from generation to generation, including cultures, customs, places, objects, artistic expressions and values. Cultural Heritage is often portrayed as an intangible or tangible cultural heritage (ICOMOS, 2002).

As part of human activity Cultural Heritage produces tangible presentations of value systems, beliefs, cultures and lifestyles. As an integral part of the overall culture, Cultural Heritage, it contains these visible and visible traces of antiquity.

Cultural Heritage is a broad concept. We prefer to focus on similarities between different categories of values, rather than their differences.
