If there is no trees there is ultimately no life as carbon-oxygen cycle is no more maintained. Also if there is no trees no oxygen is there and trees provides it for free.
I don't imagine what will be the temperature of earth , if there is no trees.
We cannot get wood products also.
Also, Many live forms dependent on trees will destroyed.
