    Rabindranath Tagore was an illustrious poet from India. He was also an accomplished philosopher, patriot, painter, and humanist. This remarkable individual was born in Calcutta on May 7th, 1861. His early education was provided by a variety of teachers at home. He also gained knowledge in a variety of areas as a result of his schooling. His post-secondary studies were completed in England. Rabindranath Tagore, above all, began composing poetry at an early age.

    Rabindranath Tagore began writing plays at the age of sixteen. Rabindranath Tagore wrote the original theatrical composition Valmiki Pratibha at the age of twenty.
