Though assigning a particular day for mother and father is not perfect as because loving your mother and father should be in the nature of a person. Respecting them, showing care and love are the very small things in front of our parents deed which they does for us.

Here, according to me assigning a particular day is not any wrong thing. Rather, there should be atleast one day in a year to show some special love and care to our parents. Arranging a parties, gifts and cake cuttings in mothers and fathers day can make them feel loved and special. So these are important to show extra love and support to our parents.

Henceforth, our parents does a lot to us, so if we did a small celebration once in a year will not be a big deal.

Our understanding of what “family” means also is evolving. Some of us have had the pleasure of being a godfather or “father figure” to younger family members who may have lost their biological father. Many children grow up in single parent homes with only a father or a mother. We have learned that it’s the love, care and presence that define fatherhood.

So as we celebrate this special day, for that special person in our lives.
