Adverbs are words that modify verbs, adjectives and other adverbs. The following types of adverbs are used in English.
1. Adverb of manner - These a adverbs describe the way or manner of an action.
Example - She sings beautifully.
He dances gracefully.
Adverbs of place - They mention where an action takes place.
Example - I am going there.
Please come inside.
Adverbs of time - These adverbs state the time of occurrence of an action.
Example - I will go there tomorrow.
He will come soon.
Adverbs of frequency - They tell us how often an action take place.
Example - I brush my teeth daily.
I comb my hair often.
