A dream is a series of images, thoughts, sentiments, and experiences that happen unconsciously in the brain during sleep. Our minds go into rest mode while we sleep. We are at ease. However, we do dream from time to time. Dreams are the result of the last ideas that have been running through our heads. Sometimes we have dreams about things that may or may not happen in the future. Although the content and function of dreams are not entirely understood, some academics believe that dreams are the key to a person’s subconscious mind. They believe that a person’s dreams reveal a lot about his or her personality. Many scientists, however, disagree with this viewpoint. Dreams, on the other hand, are thought to be created by REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, which we cycle through several times throughout the night. Our brainwaves are nearly as busy during REM episodes as they are when we are awake, according to sleep studies. Analysts claim that the forebrain creates dreams and the brainstem creates REM sleep.<div>
