Friendship is one of the greatest things in many people’s lives. It is the greatest blessing that many people receive. We meet a lot of people in the journey of our life but there are very few of them who leave a mark on us. Friends are someone who we want to stay with us forever. Friends are the people we share everything with.

There comes one more category within friends. And that is the best friend category. The people who are always loyal to you, the people who always guide you in the correct direction are usually named as best friends.

I have one best friend in my life His name is Atharv. He was my partner in school. I know for more than seven years now. We do share every little bit of things with each other. He is just like my elder brother to me. He guides me towards the correct path in my life. He is always the dearest to me. We often fight over small things, but at the end of the day, I know that he will be by my side whenever I’ll need him. He supports me in every little thing, makes me understand when I am wrong, stops me from doing the wrong things in life. You always need someone who will stand by your side and at the same time scold you for every wrong thing that you do. Those people are very rare to find in today’s world. He is a person with a clean heart and a golden soul.

It is often said that friendships that last for seven years are meant for a lifetime. I believe our friendship is meant to extend beyond eternity. We both are there for each other in every phase of our lives. And that is what friendships are meant to be.
