Albert Einstein, a German theoretical physicist, was born on 14th March 1879. He was one of the most renowned physicists of all time. His major contributions were in the branch of Modern physics. He had set up the base of Modern physics. In 1921, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his ultimate services in theoretical physics for his discovery of the photoelectric effect.

While he was in school, his teachers used to call him a little dumb as he was not able to cope up with his studies like the other students, He always thought of valid reasons behind everything. One day, his teacher gave him a note to give to his mother and also asked him not to open the letter on his own. Einstein reached home and handed over the letter to his mother, and read that the school is too small for him and doesn’t have enough good teachers to train him. Please teach him yourself. The day she died, Einstein got that letter and read it. It was written that Your son is addled and we won’t let him come to school which brought tears to Einstein’s eyes.

Einstein is known for developing the theory of relativity in addition to the theory of quantum mechanics. He gave the all-time famous Energy equation E=mc^2, which also comes from the theory of relativity.

In the year 1905, he published four of his papers that explained different concepts of physics. One of his papers described Brownian motion very nicely, while the other paper was totally based on the photoelectric effect. Rest two of his papers demonstrated the mass-energy equation. Einstein believed that the laws of classical mechanics could not be reconciled with those of electromagnetic fields. So, he came up with his special theory of relativity. He then extended his theory on the topic of gravitational fields. Thereafter in 1916, he published a paper based on gravitational concepts.
