Triangles constitutes a major part of our study of geometry and is of immense importance. We can define a triangle as a basic geometry which is constituted of three-line segment, also triangle it is the most basic shape which can be constituted of three straight line segments. In a triangle the sum of all the three angles results in making an angle of 180-degrees. The most common theorem associated with triangles is the Pythagoras theorem. Which says that in a right-angle triangle the square of the hypotenuse (longest side opposite to the 90-degree angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides named the base and perpendicular respectively.

Triangles can broadly be classified into three types:

1. EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE: An equilateral triangle is the one in which the length of all three sides are equal and as a result all the three angles measure 60-degree each.

2. ISOSCELES TRIANGLE: Isosceles triangle is the one in which the length of two sides are same and the third one is different as a result two angles measure equal and the third one is variant.

3. SCALENE TRIANGLE: Scalene triangles are the one in which all three sides are of different measure.
