Triangles constitutes a major part of our study of geometry and is of immense importance. We can define a triangle as a basic geometry which is constituted of threeline segment, also triangle it is the most basic shape which can be constituted of three straight line segments. In a triangle the sum of all the three angles results in making an angle of 180degrees. The most common theorem associated with triangles is the Pythagoras theorem. Which says that in a rightangle triangle the square of the hypotenuse (longest side opposite to the 90degree angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides named the base and perpendicular respectively.
Triangles can broadly be classified into three types:
1. EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE: An equilateral triangle is the one in which the length of all three sides are equal and as a result all the three angles measure 60degree each.
2. ISOSCELES TRIANGLE: Isosceles triangle is the one in which the length of two sides are same and the third one is different as a result two angles measure equal and the third one is variant.
3. SCALENE TRIANGLE: Scalene triangles are the one in which all three sides are of different measure.
