Patriotism is defined as a strong affection for one’s nation. This virtue motivates citizens to labor selflessly for their nation and improve it. True patriots make up a genuinely developed country. In other words, patriotism entails first thinking about the country’s interests and then thinking about oneself. Patriotism is more visible during times of conflict.
Importance Of patriotism
It improves people’s quality of life. It does this by requiring citizens to work in the best interests of the country as a whole. There would be no conflict of interest if everyone worked for the good of the country. As a result, a happy environment will prevail.
Patriotism will keep the peace and tranquility in place. When folks share a brotherly attitude, they will assist one another. As a result, the country will be more cohesive.
In summary, patriotism is critical to the country’s development. It eliminates selfish and bad impulses, which reduces corruption. Similarly, if the government is devoid of corruption, the country will grow more quickly.
Since its inception, India has had its fair share of nationalists. Various patriots were born as a result of the battle for freedom. These heroes have made several sacrifices for the county to thrive and grow. Their names have gone down in history and are still regarded with affection and respect. Rani Lakshmi Bai, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, and Maulana Azad were among India’s greatest nationalists.
Rani Lakshmi Bai was a well-known patriot of the country. Her bravery and heroism are still talked about. Her name is frequently used in the 1857 rebellion. She rose against British authority and fought for freedom. She lost her life fighting for our nation on the battlefield.
