Water dosing in general refers to a practice in which forked stick, rod, pendulum or similar devices is used to locate the underground water, mineral or hidden lost substances.

It involves the claim that any certain individual can locate the source of underground water without using any scientific equipments or appliances the person find the source of underground water by holding some dozing sticks or rods and walks around a area in which he thinks that underground water source is present.
