Simplification is a lesson in primary mathematics which teaches us several methods to simplify complex equation and thus solve them and arrive at a final result. Simplifying a problem reduces the chances of making error while solving a sum and it also makes the process easy. But there are certain rules and regulation which needs to be kept in mind while simplifying a given problem. All these rules for the sake of remembering are clubbed into an acronym called “BODMAS” it states the order in which we should deal with a problem and not maintain this particular order will lead to wrong result. BODMAS stands for:

B- BRACKET

O- OF

D- DIVISION

M- MULTIPLICATION

A- ADDITION

S- SUBSTRACTION
