MOKING: Inhaling and exhaling smoke from burning plant material is known as smoking. Smoking affects our bodies in a very bad way.

Smoking can even cause such health issues which can be life-threatening.

Smoking causes damage to almost every part of our body. Even passive smoking can cause harm to the health of a non-smoker, to such an extent that one can’t even imagine in his/her dream.

1.Damage to the lung- Since a human breathes in not only nicotine but also several other chemicals, smoking tobacco affects lung health.

Cigarettes have been linked to a significant rise in the risk of lung cancer. For men, the probability is 25 times higher, and for women, it is 25.7 times higher.

2.Heart disease- Cigarette smoking is harmful to the heart, blood circulation, and blood cells.

Cigarette smoke contains contaminants and tar that can raise a person’s chance of atherosclerosis or plaque buildup in the blood vessels. This buildup restricts blood supply which can result in life-threatening blockages.

3.Problems related to fertility- Tobacco use can damage a woman’s reproductive system, making it more difficult to conceive. This may be because nicotine and other chemicals in cigarettes alter hormone levels.

The higher the risk of erectile dysfunction in men, the more cigarettes they smoke and the longer they smoke. Smoking has been shown to decrease fertility by lowering the production of sperm.

4.Weak immune system- Cigarette smoking can damage a person’s immune system, leaving them more vulnerable to disease. It may also cause the body to become more inflamed.

5.Vision problems- Smoking tobacco can lead to a variety of eye disorders, including cataracts and age-related macular degeneration.

    Such smoking-related vision disorders include:

    · Dry eyes

    · Glaucoma

    · diabetic retinopathy

6.Hramto skin and hair: Tobacco use can harm a person’s skin and hair. A smoker’s skin can appear wrinkled and prematurely aged. They’re still more likely to get skin cancer, “particularly on the lips. It may also cause baldness and hair loss.
