Heat wave is a period of time when the weather is abnormally hot for more than two days. This is a natural disaster. It can take place with or without high humidity. This is very unusual as the natural temperature of any area. It can affect a large number of areas and the people of these areas. The temperature can become 41°C to 58°C. Effects of heat wave:-

Pollution:- extreme heat causes pollution in the environment. Air pollution can be caused by heat waves. Heat can cause atmospheric gases to react with many pollutants from ozone. Heat increases pollutants from the ozone.

Disease:- Hear waves can cause many diseases in the human body. It increases the rate of lung cancer, allergies and asthma, and cardiovascular disease. The studies show that pollution kills more than 9 million people in a year and if the heat wave increases the number will increase even more. In 2010, quite 10,000 people died in a Moscow heat wave. In 2003, some studies say a European summer heat wave killed up to 70,000.

Heat stroke:- If a person spends so many days in extremely hot weather they can develop heat stroke. If body temperature increases more than 103 Fahrenheit, it will cause heat stroke. Besides heat stroke it can cause vomiting, dehydration, cramps, dizziness and many more. So when a person suffering from any of this moves them to some cooler place.

Mental health:- mental health can deteriorate because of heat waves. Many people were found depressed and negative for the heat wave. During the heatwave more than 600 million people were found to share depressive thoughts.

Allergies and asthma:-

Heat can increase the skin problem in your body like rashes, allergies, and many more. Besides allergies it can be the worst for asthma patients. Hot weather can make it more difficult to breathe. So it is great if they stay at home during the heatwave. Sometimes allergies can lead to asthma attacks.
