A whole number is either a counting number or zero (0).
A natural number is a counting number. It starts from 1 onwards.
A rational number is a number that can be written as a ratio of two integers. It can be a fraction, an integer, a whole number, or even a natural number.
A real number is a number that can be found on the number line.
