Water pollution can be described as the contamination of water bodies due to discharge of harmful chemicals from sewage, factories, households, oil spills, etc. This makes water unfit for consumption and other uses. Water bodies are getting contaminated by a large percentage these days thus making around 70 percent of the water to be unfit for use.
