Given: 3(x+4)- 2(2x-1)= 7

On solving

3x+12-4x+2=7

On rearranging we get,

=> 3x-4x= 7-12-2

=> -x= -7

Multiplying both sides with -1 we get

=> x=7

So, the value of x is 7.
