Given

3(x + 4) – 2(2x – 1) = 5(x – 3) + 2

Sol:-

=> 3x+12-4x+2= 5x-15+2

=> 3x-4x-5x= -15+2-12-2

=> -6x= -27

=> Dividing by -1 on both sides, we get

=> 6x= 27

Therefore, x= 27/6 or 4.5
