Greetings!
Every growing child has unique perspectives and interests, and it only makes sense if their room represents who they are, along with who they will grow up to be, till of course, their interests change. Here are a few ideas which would brighten any child’s room!
Firstly, painted furniture with the child’s favorite colors is sure to make their room stand out. DIY designs on walls to a set theme, like a space theme, cars, or the ocean is one way to make the room look lively, just like the personality of the child.
Sticking posters and drawings made by your child can make the walls of the room feel wholesome and build a sense of attachment. This will encourage the child to follow their interests and putting it up on their walls would be a good way to reward them for their efforts.
Dream catchers are a great way to add a touch of aesthetic to the room. It draws the attention of everyone in the room when it sways in the wind and shows a dash of creativity. Other wall hangings like small origami birds, paper butterflies on woolen strings, cotton clouds, etc. are a great way to decorate the room.
Make a tent or a fortress in your child’s room. It could be a place for the child to explore his creativity, sleep, and have his own little private place inside his room. Use a large bedsheet and pin it up like a tent.
Adding stars and space-themed glow-in-the-dark stickers on the ceiling of the room is another way of creating a calm, composed, and beautiful atmosphere in the child’s room.
Other decorations could include DIY wooden bookshelves in unique shapes and a carpet on the floor according to the child’s interests. Stuffed animals and soft toys are also a way to make the room look fun-filled and lively!
Hope this helps! 🙂
