In general we can say that there are 2n numbers between the squares of the numbers n and (n + 1).

Here, n = 99 and (n + 1) = 100
Clearly n=99
Now, 2n =2×99=198⇒ There are 198 non-perfect square numbers between the squares of the numbers 99 and 100.
