Area of Trapezium : –

The formula to calculate the area (A) of a trapezium using base and height is given as –

A = (½ )*(a + b)*h

where,

• a and b = Bases of the trapezium (parallel sides)
• h = Height (the perpendicular distance between a and b)

Perimeter of Trapezium : –

The formula to calculate the Perimeter (P) of a trapezium using all sides is given as –

P = sum of parallel sides + sum of oblique sides

P = (a+b) + (c+d)

where,

• a and b = Parallel sides of the trapezium
• c and d = Oblique sides of the trapezium
