The Mughal Empire is renowned for its architectural achievements, administrative reforms, and the patronage of art, literature, and culture during the reigns of emperors like Akbar, Jahangir, Shah Jahan, and Aurangzeb. The empire declined in the late 18th century and was eventually absorbed into the British colonial administration in the 19th century.
