    4. Battle of Talikota (1565):

      • Fought between the Mughal-led Deccan Sultanate alliance and the Vijayanagar Empire.
      • The Mughal-led forces emerged victorious, contributing to the decline of the Vijayanagar Empire.
    5. Battle of Saraighat (1671):

      • Fought between the Mughal forces led by Aurangzeb and the Ahom Kingdom in Assam.
      • The Mughals were defeated by the Ahoms, who were able to maintain their independence from the Mughal Empire.
    6. Battle of Plassey (1757):

      • Fought between the forces of the Mughal-allied Nawab of Bengal and the British East India Company.
      • The British victory in this battle laid the foundation for their subsequent expansion and eventual control over large parts of the Indian subcontinent.
