    To multiply fractions, you simply multiply the numerators together and the denominators together:

    <math xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML” display=”block”><semantics><mrow><mfrac><mn>2</mn><mn>3</mn></mfrac><mo>×</mo><mfrac><mn>4</mn><mn>5</mn></mfrac><mo>=</mo><mfrac><mrow><mn>2</mn><mo>×</mo><mn>4</mn></mrow><mrow><mn>3</mn><mo>×</mo><mn>5</mn></mrow></mfrac><mo>=</mo><mfrac><mn>8</mn><mn>15</mn></mfrac></mrow><annotation encoding=”application/x-tex”>\frac{2}{3} \times \frac{4}{5} = \frac{2 \times 4}{3 \times 5} = \frac{8}{15}</annotation></semantics></math>32×54=3×52×4=158

    So, <math xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML”><semantics><mrow><mfrac><mn>2</mn><mn>3</mn></mfrac><mo>×</mo><mfrac><mn>4</mn><mn>5</mn></mfrac><mo>=</mo><mfrac><mn>8</mn><mn>15</mn></mfrac></mrow><annotation encoding=”application/x-tex”>\frac{2}{3} \times \frac{4}{5} = \frac{8}{15}</annotation></semantics></math>32×54=158.
