Here is the solution,
=>3x + 12 -4x + 2 = 7
=> -x + 14= 7
=> -x = 7 -14
=> -x = -7
Therefore X= 7 by cutting – from both side

Given: 3(x+4)- 2(2x-1)= 7
On solving
3x+12-4x+2=7
On rearranging we get,
=> 3x-4x= 7-12-2
=> -x= -7
Multiplying both sides with -1 we get
=> x=7
So, the value of x is 7.
