The problems faced by people during communication is known as barriers to communication. It is not till the network issues which creates problem in communicating each other, but their exists other problem as well which acts as a barrier in our communication.
Some of the barriers can be:
1)language barrier: If we talk to any person and we find that the other person’s language is not matching to ours and neither do I know his language nor do he knows our language, which creates problem in communication. Here the language acted as a barrier to communication.
2)Emotional barrier: Whenever we talk to someone and we intended to say something but the other has taken it in a wrong sense, creates problem between the two. This acted as an emotional barrier between both person as the one said something else and the other understood it in a wrong way.
3) Network barrier: If we call someone out of india or out of station sometimes, the network issues makes the call or video call disconnected, due to which communication cannot be done properly. Here, network acted as a barrierto communication . Here exists many other barriers which disturbs our communication which is called barriers to communication.

The word communication is derived from the Latin word “communis” which means to share. Communication is the mere art of exchanging the thought and idea from one person to another through either verbal mode or any written mode. Effective communication is a necessity is today’s world without communication skills a person is not considered to be properly qualified for any kind of professional work. But all of us at some point of the time or other have faced difficulties to communicate due to various reason this problem is termed are BARRIER TO COMMUNICATION there are various kinds of barriers to communication we will be discussing some of them here:
1. ENVIRONMENTAL BARRIER: We often face some loud noise due to some constructional activities or activities by some other nearby person we also witness interruption and at times physical discomfort this is termed as Environmental barrier.
2. PSCHOLOGICAL BARRIER: We generally do not feel comfortable to communicate or exchange our thoughts with people with whom our psychology does not match this barrier is termed as Psychological barrier.
3. LANGUAGE BARRIER: People speaking different languages are often unable to speak or understand other languages and thus when they get to interact with people from other origin they fail to do so.
4. PERSONAL BARRIER: At times people suffer from physical challenges such as being deaf or dumb at this point, they are not able to communicate due to some personal problem of their own.
5. DEMOGRAPHICAL BARRIER: At times one particular language has variety of accents and people living in different landforms use them and it often turns out to be a communication barrier.
6. ATTITUDINAL BARRIER: At times due to the attitude of the other person people do not feel comfortable to communicate, this at times turns out to be very serious and results in being a communication barrier.

Communication is a process through which a message is circulated from 1 person to another through different mediums. But sometimes due to some issues the process of communication does not takes place sucessfully. The issue can be from the sender’s side ,receiver’s side or through medium itself. These issues that causes communication to become unsuccessful is called barriers in communication.
Different types of barriers of communication are-
1. Emotional barriers- Sometimes due to an incident or accident it becomes difficult for a person to express his message due to flood of emotions. Here emotions become a barrrier for communication and thus causes unsucessfull communication.
For eg- When a person is very sad and you try to ask them what happened but there emotions don’t allow them toh speak clearly.
2. Language barriers- If a person living in south India tries to have a conversation with a person living in North India they won’t be able to understand each others concern and end up have an unsuccessful conversation.
3. Lack of interest as a barrier- lack of interest from the receiver’s side maybe because of being an unknown topic aur lesser known topic can causes barrier communication eventually leading to unsucessfull communication.
4. Physical barriers- Physical barriers such as issue in hearing or diziness can also become a barrier of communication.
5.Talking too much- Talking too much creates a problem that the person does not sticks to the points and starts creating stories which are more boring and due to which receiver gets distracted and does not pays attention to the sender’s talk.
6. Lack of eye contact- Maintaing eye contact means the sender and receiver are vibing and understanding each other’s position. Lack of eye contact shoes lack of interest in the receiver which eventually becomes a barrier in communication.
