Cement is a product used for civil engineers construction purpose. It is binding material which usually helps keep buildings and other monuments intact in their position for years, until its broken or needs repair.
They are usually powder-like in appearance which is mixed in water to bind together to form a heavy mass.
The cement is usually of two types;
1. Hydraulic cement
2. Portland cement
In large scale, the portland cement is used widely for making roads by mixing it with soil.
In general, cement absorbs a lot of water. The more water is takes in, higher is the chance of it becoming hard in nature.
