  Drought can be defined as extreme started of rainfall or water in a particular area. It directly affect the crop and result in the shortage of food for humans and food for animals. in India more than 70% of the total cultivated draught land is drought prone. draught is a common phenomenon in India but due to better planning and management programs their capacity to kill large number of animals and people had been reduced.

  The method to prevent drought are.

  Conserve water in every form.

  Do not waste water.

  Create less pollution, do not cut trees, don’t Overgraze, let ground water get collected properly so that all natural process can take place properly.
