Keeping food for stray animals outside your house can have both positive and negative effects on the cleanliness of the environment.
The positive effect can be:- by providing food to the stray animals, it can reduce their urge to find the food in trash cans which may result in less littering incidents and a cleaner environment.
The negative effect can be:-
The food left outside can attract pests like rats, mice, and insects which can spread diseases and unhygienic environment.
To reduce the negative effect we can take certain precautions:-
1. We can use containers which are animal proof and can be closed to prevent the access by pests.
2. Use a specific feeding station or area where you can place the food so that it makes it easier to clean the place.
