Discrimination on the basis of sex, caste, colour, gender , religion we all are facing it since ages. At every stage we as women feel this kind of discrimination. It all started when we take birth only . We are girl than we have to love pink , we have to be polite . We have to show lady like behavior like calmness , way to sit , way to stand etc. Discrimination is a stereotypes thinking of individual not only men even women and mothers too do this kind of discrimination .
Reasons for discrimination:-
1. Tendency of having male child , people are thinking that male or boy child is only capable of doing tough work, also support their parents when they become old.
2. Dowry system also forced them to discriminate between girl and boy. Having boy is considered as being rich.
3. Females are generally considered as soft so they are not able to do tough works.
4. Our country is male dominated country male is considered to be more powerful.
We need to stop this type of stereotypes thinking for our better future . We are opposite and equal. We have to eradicate this stereotypes thinking that is females always do the household works, cooks for family , take care of their babies.
We need to stop this dowry system which is a legal crime. We need to provide education to them . Education is like a weapon for every women.
Discrimination on the basis of race ( colour) is also very common. Girls are rejected on the basis of color during their marriage . But these things are not required at all “every color is beautiful”. Everyone has his own beauty . This kind of discrimination is just for a small time . All thing that is needed to a good human being . Be pious from your heat , spread love , initiate yourselves for change. Let’s take this initiative .
Hope you will be satisfied by my answer.
Thank you!!Discrimination

Gender equality
Gender equality is very familiar to us today it means both men and women can have equal opportunity in every possible field. We lived in 21 th century were we human beings defined as developed and modernize.Still we found that men and women are not seen as equal way. There are various time when we encounter gender discrimination, specially in rural area but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen it urban places. But as a modern and educated society we have to see men and women as a same way. Around the globe men and women do not have equal privilege. They both have the right to be educate, to successful and fearless. There are many people exist in this society who thought girl children are just burden on the other hand boy children brings prosperity in house. Women always seen as a weaker sex mentally, physical and socially but it isn’t true women can do whatever they want to do in life if they had equal opportunity as men. In this society the work of a working women is always seen as secondary but men’s are always seen to be more important. No matter how much women hardwork if there’s a time to quit job it always have to be the women. Women always have to sacrifice everything for their families, reports says 50% women’s quit their jobs after child birth. In India approximately 30% of girls being married below age 18. In many rular places women are not being consider capable of education rather their place is in household works. We all know this is baseless. If we want to change our society and want make it move developed then we have to give equal rights to the women of our country, We need both men and women to change our nation. Like Swami Vivekanand said “The best thermometer to the progress of nation is it’s treatment of it’s women”.

In our country or in our world, everyone has an opportunity to meet with society at a time in the life. Because everyone are now interactive with the society. Society means a group of people with out any barrier in gender. There are only employer and employee. I think in this time period gender problem are very low. The reason is that, both men and women are not give any importance to their gender at the moment. They are just enjoying the way they are. But not in complete. There are traditional families who were not allowed their girl children to work in a city or have a higher studies in abroad. The reason is not about the their view. But their fear about their child. But now most of the girls are able to break the chains. And most of our mothers and other women’s have the dream to live without any shakles of chain, but they can’t. So that they are silently support their girl children to go ahead.
In work places, school, market or any public platforms most of the men are interested to support women. They give respect to them and take respect. Majority of the men are not focus the gender of the opponent in the business field. They only focus on the talent and skills of them. But there are a few people who show gender inequality that is the reason to make an argument about it.

WOMAN- a mother who nurtures, a wife who serves, a friend who listens, a daughter who loves, a sister who cares. From age old times the description of a woman revolves around a man and his family. Rarely a woman is described as a human being, a creature of God with emotions, feelings, patience, passion, dreams and endless love. Who has the right to open up, to live for herself, to breathe freely! We rarely define a man with such nouns. What you think about a woman makes you believe that she is born to serve, if you ever thought a woman as described latter, you would have let her LIVE.
We are living in a patriarchal society, where men are supposed to work and woman are supposed to be found in kitchen. With time the delusion of perceiving a woman just in the kitchen changed. Now she is ‘allowed’ work after marriage, ‘allowed’ to live her dreams and passion. Oh, allowed! Why does the society thinks a woman needs to be “allowed” what a man is supposed to do?
We talk about gender equality. But we belong to a society where a woman is being judged on each step. She no longer eats after the men have completed their supper, but she still cannot put her ideas into words or actions.
If she gets angry, may be at a work place, her anger is judged as a mood swing of “those days”!!! why so unfair?!! Is a woman not allowed to show her anger or argue with someone unless and until she is menstruating? Is a woman not supposed to get angry whereas men are considered to be as figures of valor and confidence!! Why are men not being judged when they are being argumentative?
No wonder how efficiently a lady could work, she will face trouble during the times of promotion in most of the companies. I am not talking about all the work firms but yes, most of them do raise a question on her personal life and issues. A man, too, has a family back at home. He is never being judged based on his personal life. Why?
No wonder whatever a woman does or tries to do, she will always be questionable. Why don’t we question men?
Yes, I firmly believe that women are progressing and living their dreams, following their passions- but we all have had faced the questions of the society, a society that never questions a man.
While talking about rape and molestation, it is an undeniable fact that men too get raped – but where do we find any man walking with fear on a road at a late hour of the day? Where do we find a man faking a phone call on a dark night travelling alone, where do we find a man adjusting his dress in front of a woman. But we do justify a rapist (a man) when we raise questions against a rape victim as what was she doing there at such a late hour. By raising questions on her dress or the time of the day. A rapist never sees the length of the dress or the age of the lady, all he knows is about the vagina and his uncontrolled hormones, because women in sarees are being raped too, whereas girls with under developed vagina are being raped too. Age or clothes do not justify a hideous crime done by a man.
women have been facing discrimination since ages. It is true that some of them get a chance to live their life on their own terms, but most of them are bound by their families and the orthodox believes of the society. It is true that women are being judged on their talents too, but the fact is – only a few get this chance!! We are still living in a world where XY enjoys some benefits that a XX has to fight for!!

Gender equality or sex discrimination has been one of the most known terms to us. Though we have reached to 21st century, and it is not that gender equality problems has not been over yet. The discrimination between men and women has been almost over, but not completely.
Henceforth, there exist some people till now, who discriminates between men and women. Women has not completely been given the rights to match their shoulders with men. There are many causes of gender discrimination. The first one has to be illiteracy. When people do not educate themselves, they continue to live in the old times. Thus, they follow the old-age sexist traditions and norms.
Education can bring about a change in this mindset because educated people will less likely partake in gender discrimination. Further, poverty is also another reason which is interlinked in a way.
It is the root cause in many places because the economic dependence remains on the male counterparts mostly. Thus, women suffer a lot from it because of the same reason. They never get out of this and stay financially dependent on men.
Gender discrimination must be checked at every stage so that no person should be denied a chance to learn and grow. Thus, everyone, no matter male or female, must get a start in life in terms of educations and other opportunities. We must come together as a society to do this.
