What items do I need to make a good water colour painting?

For a beginner who is going to try their hands at water color painting, the basic requirements would be a good set of water color paints, (recommended: camlin), a paper with minimum of 120 gsm, brushes of various sizes, at least 3 to differentiate the strokes. To make it look more neat and professional, you can also use a masking tape in the corners that can act as a border to the painting and also make the paper stay in one place.
It is important to figure out how much water should be used and also about color mixing to bring out the best possible outcome.
Watercolor painting can be little tricky, it cannot be mastered within a short span of time. To master in watercolor painting, one needs to be consistent in practicing the art form.
