    The arrangement of the alphabet from A to Z, as we commonly use it today, is based on the Latin alphabet. The Latin alphabet itself evolved from earlier alphabets, such as the Greek alphabet, which in turn was derived from the Phoenician alphabet. The specific individuals who first established the order of the Latin alphabet are unknown, as it was a gradual process that developed over centuries. However, the standardized order we use today can be traced back to the ancient Romans, who used a modified version of the Greek alphabet and arranged the letters in the order we are familiar with: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z.
