Does heat energy get transferred from hotter objects to colder objects or from colder objects to hotter objects?

Given a thermometer and two bodies at different temperatures, one at 50 degrees and other at 100 degrees, after placing the two bodies in contact with each other and measuring the temperature after one hour, what difference in temperatures would you notice in the two bodies as given from the beginning? Which body is warmer and which body is colder? From which body has the heat been transferred for causing the change in temperature?

Heat energy flows from hotter objects to colder objects.

Heat will flow from the body at 100 degrees to the body at 50 degrees

therefore the body which was at 50 degrees will become warmer and the body at 100 degrees will become cooler

heat has flown from the body at higher temperature to the body at lower temperature
