    1. There were many freedom fighters and leaders who led the indian freedom struggle. We’ve been fighting for independence since 1857 which is the year when the revolt of 1857 happened. Though there were many people who participated in the freedom struggle, there was no actual leader who could unite all of the freedom movements. There were many freedom movements after 1857 but they were not well organised and people had different demands. There was no unity among the freedom fighters.

But during the crucial period, MK Gandhi, returned to India from South Africa and started participating in the freedom struggle. He travelled across the country, united the freedom struggle and finally brought us independence from the british.

    2. Taj mahal is a monument located in the indian state of uttar pradesh. It is designated as one of the world heritage sites by unesco. It was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife, Mumtaj Mahal. It is the symbol of ever lasting love and a tribute to the workers who built the monument with their blood and sweat. Overtime, it has attracted a lot of foreign tourists and it remains as a respected place.
