3(x+4) – 2(2x-1) = 5(x-3) + 2<div>3x + 12 – 4x + 2 = 5x – 15 + 2</div><div>14 – x = 5x – 13</div><div>14 – x – 5x + 13 = 0</div><div>27 – 6x = 0</div><div>27 = 6x</div><div>x = 4.5</div>
Solved.
Given
3(x + 4) – 2(2x – 1) = 5(x – 3) + 2
Sol:-
=> 3x+12-4x+2= 5x-15+2
=> 3x-4x-5x= -15+2-12-2
=> -6x= -27
=> Dividing by -1 on both sides, we get
=> 6x= 27
Therefore, x= 27/6 or 4.5
