  To create spoon puppets of creatures Gather plastic spoons, colorful paper, glue, and markers to make spoon puppets of animals and birds. Using scissors, cut and form the paper into the shape of wings, tails, and beaks. Use glue to secure these components to the spoon. Use markers to add eyeballs and other elements. Try a variety of spoon positions to achieve a range of puppet movements. Let children select their favorite species to foster creativity. Once completed, enjoy playing pretend or putting on puppet performances with the spoon puppets.
