  Here is an example of a sentence in the present perfect continuous tense:

  “I have been studying for the exam all week.”

  The present perfect continuous tense is used to describe an action that began in the past and is still continuing in the present. In this example, the action of studying for the exam started in the past (earlier this week) and is still ongoing.
