    Pandemic anxiety can be healed in different ways. One must not let their morals down. It is important keep the mind occupied with one task or the other. Anxiety builds up when one spends time doing nothing and give their minds time to approach negative and sulking thoughts.

    Here are certain tips one can follow to keep their day productive and free from anxiety:

    1. Socialize with you friends online. You can schedule particular tine in a day and have small chit-chat or a game session with your friends. A little gossip never harms.

    2. One must inculcate habit of reading. When you read, your mind gets away from daily struggle, helps enjoy the storyline and also builds your vocabulary.

    3. Working out helps burning extra energy. Each day should have 15mins to an hour of workout session. It keeps mind active and keeps you fit too.

    4. Yoga helps clear mind. Early morning or late afternoons are perfect for doing yoga. It keeps you fit and clears mind from toxic thoughts. It helps make decisions more effectively.

    5. Approaching new hobbies is yet another chance to let go anxiety and have a pleasant state of mind.

    In this hard time which we are going through it is very important for us to stay fit mentally and physically. Physical health is generally taken very seriously but one the other hand mental health is something which is not even talked about. People are suffering from pandemic anxiety with is leading them to lack of confidence and depression. Mental health is also equally important infact it can be said that it is more important as a person suffering from physical pain but having stress free mental state can be cured within few days whereas person suffering from no physical health issue but struggling with mental health issues takes lot of years and specialised treatment for recovery . Healthy mental state can be maintained by practicing the stress management techniques. Some of them are-
    1. Exercising and yogas:- These play a very important role in controlling our stress. Long breathing helps to relax our body ,normalise our pulse rate and oxygen rate.
    Excercises like stretching and taking massages also helps body and mind to relax.
    2. Taking breaks:- Taking break from the normal work schedule and doing thing which makes us happy helps in relieving stress . It can be cooking, dancing, singing. Anything which makes us happy.
    Spending time doing our hobbies will help our mind to stop thinking in a particular direction which is causing stress or affecting mental peace.
    3. Eating healthy:- Consuming balanced diet helps our body to stay healthy and healthy body leads to healthy mind.
    4. Working on the problem:- Working on the problem and discussing with the specialised people helps in solving it which leads to better mental state and healthy mind.
    5. Talk with people around:- Talking plays a very important role in releasing stress. Knowing about people around and most importantly surrounding people with same ambition and mind set gives a lot of support and motivation for a person.

    ANXIETY: It is a mental health condition characterized by intense feelings of concern, anxiety, or fear that interferes with everyday activities. It is a Body’s response in a very natural way to stress.

    One feels scared as to what is about to come their way in the future. Anxiety can sometimes give you an energy boost or help you concentrate. However, for those who suffer from anxiety disorders, the fear is intense and can be overwhelming. Everybody can feel anxious or can be scared at some or other points of their life.

    Anxiety can last minutes, hours, days, or even weeks.


    a. tense feelings of risk, fear, or dread nervousness, restlessness

    b. Trembling

    c. Insomnia

    d. Intense worrying

    e. Nausea

    EXAMPLE: One may feel anxious when it is his/ her first day at the job, or a student may feel anxious before their test.


    a. Self-pampering– Take out some time for yourself, listen to some good music, dance, get a massage, do whatever you like, and enjoy.

    b. Healthy food- Have a balanced diet. Do not skip your meals. Include green vegetables and fruits in your diet. Have protein in your diet.

    c. Exercise daily– Often, exercise to ensure that oxygen reaches every cell in the body, allowing your brain and body to function at their fullest.

    d. Talk to others– Spend time with family or friends. As when you are engaged in some other activities your mind doesn’t go towards negativity. Talking to other people will bring positivity and happiness in your life.

    e. Positive attitude– Read positive quotes daily. Stay away from negative thoughts. Surround yourself with people from whom you get positive vibes.

    f. Meditation– Do meditation for at least 15-20 minutes daily. Close your eyes and inhale and exhale slowly. Do not think about anything while meditating.

    g. Proper sleep– Your body needs proper rest, lethargic body can’t function well. Get proper sleep of 7-8 hours daily.

    h. Aromatherapy– Scents like lavender, chamomile, and sandalwood, whether in oil, incense, or a candle, can be very relaxing.

    i. Writing– Write down those things which make you feel anxious, or write down your negative thoughts. Once you will write those thoughts, all negativity will go from your brain now.

    j. Vacation– If you can go on a short trip. Plan short trips with your friends and family. A change of location will help your mind to relax.
