Event management is a part of project management. Event management means to lead a meeting of a group of people with a management system. They co-ordinate all programs in that function. The host only pay money and give the details of the function. The whole responsibility is with the event management. Event management is a team of people who are from different sections of a function like food, anchoring, entertainment, decoration etc. Event management team creating and developing the entire program.
In the present condition the event management team are common. For any functions like wedding, housewarming, bachelor party, college function, public function, funeral etc we just contact them. So it is easy to the host. Host doesn’t have any worries about the function, the event team will take care of the entire program well.

Event management deals with managing an event whether it’s a low scale event which can be a low scale brunch of business class people to a large scale functions such as weddings and award functions. It includes studying the requirements of the target audience, understanding there needs, working upon them and coordinating with all the working people needed like the technical team, caterers sponsers if there. Many big or small industries, charitable organizations, NGOs book these event managers in order to smoothly carrying the function. The people who are involved in creating, scheduling, and managing the event management are called event managers and there’s a proper course which are seen taught in the colleges for the same. These event managers manage the third part vendors, budgeting, scheduling, site selection, acquiring necessary permits, coordinating transportation and parking, arranging for speakers or entertainers, arranging decor, event security, catering, coordinating with third-party vendors, and emergency plans. Each event is different in its nature so process of planning & execution of each event differs on basis of the type of event.
The event manager is the person who plans and executes the event, taking responsibility for the creative, technical, and logistical elements. This includes overall event design, brand building, marketing and communication strategy, audio-visual production, script writing, logistics, budgeting, negotiation, and client service.
There are numerous universities which are giving certificate course or undergraduate course for the event management. Even management deals with managing the event. An even may be a bigger one or a smaller event. There are some larger event like marriages, functions etc. it includes all the decorative items , Lighting, food, gifts, good atmosphere etc. It also includes the fulfilling the needs of the guest who are into the function. Based on the performance of the event managers, they’re paid accordingly.
•Decoration:-
Decoration is the top most prioritized thing for the event managers. This is because, when our the guest arrives into the function, he/she looks at the decoration initially. After looking at the decoration he/she throws the look on any other things. Decoration is the most impressive thing for the guests and which brings the positive vibes in and around the function and in all the guests. All the flowers symbolize the happiness and every other things like leaves and the bird symbolizes some other things respectively. All the things together make a sense.
•Food:-
Food is the one of the most important things which the guest looks for in the function. He/ she will be so impressed when the food is cooked well and so well in a good manner.
•lighting:-
Lighting is another most important thing which brings all the attraction in the program if it is held during the night time. All the decorations seem so impressive and the lighting is good. All the colorful lights in the function symbolizes the emotions in the life. It is so attractive to see when the decoration and the lighting are good.
