Subsistence agriculture is a type of agriculture when the farmer starts farming for his own needs. Frame raising crops and animals for the needs of their own. They raise crops and animals and sell it for their survival. The farmer and their family eat the crops that they harvest, eat the food produced by their animals, or utilize parts of their animals to help sustain their lives. Subsistence agriculture can be seen in less developed countries. Subsistence agriculture basically took place in South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. The framers select their own area and harvest the crops they want. They consume the products produced by animals for living. The farmers don’t have other jobs; they just do farming as their profession. They harvest crops to feed themselves and basically sell the leftovers. The animals they raise are basically cows, goats, pigs, hen and sheeps. They can get eggs, milk, and meat from them. But most of the time the farmers face difficulties finding areas for farming. It is also difficult to buy animals, fertilizer, and other important things for the betterment of crops. The farmers are basically poor. Basically this kind of agriculture is seen in underdeveloped countries. Farming that produces just enough food for themselves to survive but does not produce enough food to sell to other people. But it is so difficult in this era of industrialization. We found these types of agriculture in rural areas.
