Most of the home and the laboratory rat brown rat. They originally came from China, and has spread throughout the world, after the black rat. They probably arrived in Europe around the year 1300, and it spread all over the world, in the late 1700’s.
Black rats are the most commonly found in Australian towns and cities, however, brown rats may be more common in older urban areas.
Like the black and brown rats, which arrived in Australia with the Europeans, on ships, and it has spread to many other parts of the world.
The skeletal remains of the black rats are found in the bullet and the vessels of the Dutch ships sunk off the west coast of Australia in 1616, but the black rat, probably introduced to Australia by the First Fleet in 1788.
Some Europeans believed that these rats are native to the Australian at the latest, as they are very similar to the native rat, and they are living in our trees. However, we now know that they have arrived in the eu.
Brown rats are also likely to have arrived with the British, but we don’t know exactly when.
