  Plaster of paris is the compound that is used by the doctor to fix the broken bones or the fractures in the hospital. It is made from gypsum to adapt the hardening property, when it is mixed with proper quantity of water. The compound plaster of paris it is basically calcium sulphate hemihydrate caso4. Half H2O it is used by doctor basically to fix the broken bones and also used for decoration of ceilings and walls. It should be properly prepared with the perfect amount of each element and water and must given proper time to let it dry. So it don’t get moulded or broken once it is perfectly fixed and so it can help to fix the fracture.
