The education system is much more modern than the ancient education system. In ancient India, students studied from the home of a teacher. The teachers are known as Guru. The people of the cities are much more educated than the rural people. When schools were established the majority of boys attended the schools. But girls are not allowed to take education outside their house, rather they take lessons from the private teacher at home. But in this time girls and boys have equal rights to be educated. Both of them are legally expected to attend school. Not only this, both of them can take education under the same roof. In ancient times people only learned Sanskrit, but in modern times we can learn many different kinds of languages, besides our native language. In ancient times education was based on spiritual things, but in the modern-day, there are so many subjects to learn, like history, science, geography, and many more. In ancient times education was considered important, but learning through books isn’t very popular. Though there was a requirement for reading and writing activities like voting, this didn’t embarrass the citizens or bring shame at any point in life. They are most likely to engage in physical activities and training, but in this modern education system learning is mostly based on books. Technology wasn’t very good in ancient times so there are so many things people didn’t know. But in modern education we learn so many unknown facts through technology, technology makes our lives and education so advanced and great. So it is proven that the modern education system is much better than the ancient education system.
