The modernization and industrialization has made our world so advanced and powerful. It is technology which made everything so easy for us. But it also creates a negative impact towards the environment. It causes pollution and depiction of natural resources. Air pollution happens when harmful or excessive quantities of gases like CO2 , carbon monoxide gas , sulphur dioxide , gas and methane are introduced into the earth’s atmosphere. The main sources of this pollution all relate to technologies which emerged following days. Industrial development which incorporates the burning of fossil fuels, factories, power stations, mass agriculture and vehicles cause pollution. The consequences of
air pollution are negative impact on health for humans and animals and global warming. The pollution also increases the amount of greenhouse gases in the air which cause global warming and climate change. The increase of technology also increases water pollution. water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater, usually due to human activities, are getting polluted day by day. The main causes are industrial waste, domestic waste, agricultural waste. Many harmful chemicals and bacteria are getting mixed through this wastes in the water bodies and cause pollution. Many diseases such as typhoid and cholera, eutrophication can be caused by the water pollution and the destruction of ecosystems which negatively affects the food chain.There are several types of resource depletion which incorporates deforestation, mining for fossil fuels and minerals, contamination of resources, erosion and overconsumption of resources. These are the result of agriculture, mining, water usage and consumption of fossil fuels,all of which have been possible by advancements in technology. The usage of technology increases as the global pollution is also increasing. We are forgetting that these resources are limited. It also results in the loss of trees which is a filter of the environment as it removes carbon dioxide. So we use the technology with a limit to stop the fatal consequences.
