Compound Used for Fracture in Bones

Plaster of Paris is a compound that is used by doctors to fix broken bones or fractures in the hospital. It is made from gypsum to adapt the hardening property when it is mixed with a proper quantity of water. The compound plaster of Paris is calcium sulphate hemihydrate, CaSO4. Half H2O it is used by doctors basically to fix broken bones, and also used for decoration of ceilings and walls. It should be properly prepared with the perfect amount of each element and water and must be given proper time to let it dry.
