Is human blood ever any color other than red?
Can Human Blood Be Any Color Other Than Red?
This is an interesting question. For over years, we have been accustomed to seeing blood as red due to movies, etc. It has been recorded that people often tend to get surprised seeing their blood. While some of us find watching blood cringy at times. It’s completely normal. Each one of us responds to things differently.
Coming back to the color of blood, it is surprising to know that, yes, blood does have color other than red.
In general, we see blood as red due to the presence of Hemoglobin in it. Hemoglobin is a respiratory pigment. In humans, this pigment is found to be red. But, at a large scale, in case of animals, these pigments are often seen in colors other than red, like green, blue, yellow, and also purple in some cases.
I hope this answer helps!
