What do you understand by current? What are its types? And it states its practical use in nature.
Explain Current And Its Types
Technically, Electric current can be defined as the rate of flow of charge per second. In other words, it is the flow of electrons in a conductor. The magnitude of electric current is defined as coulombs per second. The SI unit of electric current is the Ampere (A).
Properties:
a) Electric current is the result of the flow of electrons.
b) Work done in moving the stream of electron flow is known as electric energy. The same energy is further converted to various other types of energy.
c) Electric currents are further divided into two types: Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC).
d) It is conventionally believed that the flow of current is in the positive direction.
Electric current is widely
and practically used for everything in our day-to-day life. Fan, air conditioner,
television, remote controls, fridge, etc., all work due to the constant flow of
electric current.
I hope this answer helps!
