Describe the Elements of Ecosystem

Planet Earth is home to a million Living Organisms. We humans share our homes or the planet with a wide variety of living organisms. We all are dependent on each other for various reasons. All the other living organisms, including human beings, depend on plants for their food as without plants none of us would be able to survive. Additionally, plants also provide us with the life giving Oxygen and various other products. Similarly, we depend on different organisms for different needs. The earth has a large amount of biodiversity. Human beings, in addition to all the other living organisms how make a Complex structure ecological system in which we all have a part to play and are quite dependent on this whole system for our survival.

Like plants provide us with food and air, similarly microorganisms help in decomposing dead and decaying matter and replenish the quality of soil which used while production of our food without which we won’t be able to survive.

This interaction of living beings with their surrounding environment is known as an ecosystem. In other words, when living organisms like human beings microorganisms interact with the non living organism or the components of the environment, it creates a healthy balance. Both components can minimise the losses and increase the gains. This benefits everybody. A healthy system of dependability is known as an ecosystem. An ecosystem consists of both living and nonliving factors, generally known as biotic and abiotic components of the environment. An ecosystem can be very used light the aquatic ecosystem or the Marine ecosystem, which comprises thousands of species of living and nonliving organisms, or it can be very small, like a community of lichen, mosses, etc.
