Functioning of Democracy in India
India could even be a democratic country. As an Indian, I’ve been conversant with the word democracy since my childhood. Democracy is the simplest quiet government. There are many reasons why democracy could be an honest system. Democracy gives us the proper right to settle on a government, it gives us freedom and power to settle on our leader. We enjoy our rights, which are essential for a cheerful life. Democracy stands because the saviour of a non-corrupt government. When a government fails to provide all things needed to the people of a rustic, then democracy stands strong. It makes them sleep in peace and amicably with each other. People of democracy don’t discriminate against one another and accept each other’s differences. For any country, this is often vital to being happy and prosperous. Among all the countries in the world, India stands thanks to the foremost powerful democratic country. After the very best of the British Raj, the Indian government formed a democratic government. In India, citizens are allowed to vote from the age of 18. Democracy is all a few people; it doesn’t discriminate against anyone supported by caste, class, gender, or race. The five principles of democracy are sovereignty, republicanism, socialism, democracy, and secularism. Political parties contest in elections with subsequent principles, and whoever gets the bulk of the vote becomes the winner. There are many efforts put up to motivate people to vote. But there are numerous difficulties in India reading democracy. Sometimes, it didn’t conduct elections efficiently. Many contaminated folks tried to interfere with people’s democratic rights. These differences got to be resolved for a way better democratic India. Moreover, the Indian democracy is better than other countries, but still, many improvements are required to be done. Democracy is the pillar of strength for the standard people in India
